Patrons delivered the entire amount of humanitarian aid to the Akimat for distribution to medical and other organizations of the Almaty region, which are also directly involved in countering the spread of coronavirus infection, the press service of the akim of Almaty region said.
The total cost of medical equipment is more than 100 million tenge. It included reusable Dupont protective suits, infrared thermometers, medical masks, respirators, safety glasses. It was purchased in China and delivered to Kazakhstan by special flight. All cargo was transferred to the Akimat of Almaty region for distribution to medical and other organizations involved in the fight against the epidemic. All medical products and ammunition manufactured at Chinese and European enterprises have European certificates of quality.
We express our special gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the embassies of the Republic of Kazakhstan in China and the embassy of PRC in Kazakhstan, since it was their efforts in rendering a great assistance by organizing this logistically difficult delivery in the pandemic time.
