The outbreak of coronavirus pandemic proved the fact that no country in the world is safe from the troubles, which seem very simple at a first sight. We have witnessed how governments of many countries tried to regulate the methods to control the spread of pandemic – recommendations for isolation were substituted with harsh quarantine regime.
Moreover, it also affected the direction of the world economy. If earlier the countries made more optimistic forecasts on the future losses, but now the countries are forced to mobilize all their efforts to smoothly come off the crisis.
Based on this fact, the leadership of Kazakhstan has overseen the scale of the pandemic from the very beginning, effectively adapting the state policy according to the development of global situation. Thus, despite the possible economic damage the President of Kazakhstan has introduced the preventive measures on strengthening social isolation in the large cities of the country. Due to the successful world experience the particular timely effective quarantine measures are the main source of the pandemic control.
At the same time, a quarantine implementation is one side of the coin. It is necessary to take into consideration the wellbeing of the nation and business, which faces a great loss during emergency situation. It’s important to stress that the President of Kazakhstan shows not only the ability to work proactively, but also adhere to “the concept of hearing state”. He listened to civil society in the field of improvement of the state measures. Thus, together with enhancement of quarantine measures in the society more cases of social help for self-employed and indigent citizens are appealed. Representatives of businesses have also asked for further tax relief. It shows the fact that the state has cumulated a sufficient margin which will allow Kazakhstan to come off the crisis successfully.
Moreover, as a responsible member of the international community, Kazakhstan has been continuing to render humanitarian aid to the partner countries in the face of global coronavirus pandemic. As early as February of the current year Kazakhstan was one of the first countries rendered a partner support to China during the height of COVID-19 pandemic. It provided several deliveries of medical preventive equipment. Recently by the solution of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev a humanitarian aid was rendered to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in the form of delivery of 5 thousand tons of Kazakhstani flour to each country with total amount of more than 3 million USD. This gesture once again proves the adherence to the humanitarian principles, where a shared responsibility before global appeals.
Certainly, the world countries should work together in order to turn around harmful economic consequences, overcome possible crisis and prevent the world economy fall. Only joint efforts and unity become the effective tools of all countries in the fight towards global pandemic and its consequences.
