President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev asked Kazakhstanis to obey quarantine rules, Toppress.kz correspondent reports citing the Head of State’s official Twitter account.
“The number of people infected with COVID-19 in Kazakhstan is still growing, but not exponentially. This means that the decisions made by the government were timely. However, we have not reached the peak yet. I therefore call on everyone to obey quarantine rules. I would like to thank doctors, police, military personnel and volunteers. It is important to ensure their safety,” he wrote.
According to the latest official data, there are 1735 COVID-19 infected people and 19 dead in Kazakhstan. The number of recovery cases reached 413.
