According to Natalya Godunova, the resources aimed at supporting the country’s economy and combating the pandemic are closely monitored by the Accounts Committee and audit commissions. By the end of this year, the agencies will draw up an assessment of the socio-economic effect of all measures taken by the government.
Closing the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the Committee to review the audit results at the next meeting of the Accounts Committee and make specific recommendations regarding ineffective management of state assets. The Committee has been working effectively, the President noted, saying he intends to keep it under his personal control.
