Kazakhstan resumes flights to Turkey, China, South Korea, Thailand, Georgia and Japan, Toppress.kz correspondent reports citing Civil Aviation Committee.
“Based upon the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, current epidemiological situation, and WHO coronavirus map, the Interdepartmental Commission on counteraction to the spread of coronavirus inKazakhstan has decided that international flights to Turkey, China, South Korea, Thailand, Georgia and Japan will resume on June 20,” the Committee’s statement reads.
The number of international flights will depend on existing intergovernmental air services agreements and passenger load of commercial flights on each route.
Flight ticket sales will be carried out in accordance with the schedule published on the websites of airlines with due consideration of epidemiological situation andcitizens’ ability to move freely both in Kazakhstan andthose countries, the CAC said.
