On 6 April 2020, the craft with humanitarian aid has landed at the International Airport of Nur-Sultan city, Khabar 24 reports.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Kazakhstan HE Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Aljaber gave the interview.
“Taking into consideration warm and friendly relations between the UAE and Kazakhstan and mutual efforts taken to combat the corona virus, you can see the plane arrived from the UAE with 12 tons of medical supplies for the Republic of Kazakhstan. There are masks and other items for combating corona virus on the board”, the Ambassador said.
For the question on the cost of the cargo the Ambassador stressed the high level of trust and respect between leaders of two friendly countries.
Journalist noted that usually Kazakhstan renders humanitarian aid to other countries. However, Ambassador agreed that in such difficult pandemic situation it is a normal practice to provide humanitarian help to each other. He is aware of Kazakhstan helping other countries in Central Asia as well as the UAE do.
In conclusion he mentioned that the humanitarian aid could be rendered again if needed.
