Kazakhstan will allow international flights to several more countries on June 15, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Beibut Atamkulov announced on Tuesday.
Recently an interagency commission has made a decision to allow international flights starting from June 1 to three countries – Korea, China and Azerbaijan. The assessment was based on the current COVID-19 epidemiological situation and an international rating of the world’s safest countries, he noted.
According to Minister Atamkulov, next phase includes Germany, UAE, Czech Republic and Thailand.
We might also get a permission to fly to Poland and Hungary. I constantly keep in touch with my foreign colleagues. I have recently held negotiations with the Minister of Transport of Turkey. They defined June 20 as a potential date for resuming flights from Kazakhstan to Antalya. We will keep working on it, he said.
