Kazakh actor Zhaidarbek Kunguzhinov and members of the Nomad Stunts team have been nominated for the Taurus World Stunt Awards, a yearly ceremony held midyear to honour stunt performers in movies, Toppress.kz correspondent reports. The award is often referred to as the Oscars of the professional stunt industry.

Zhaidarbek Kunguzhinov and the Nomad Stunts team were nominated for the Taurus World Stunt Awards, US, for staging tricks in the Tomiris movie. This is a prestigious award that annually celebrates the best stuntmen, directors and action experts from around the world. In terms of importance, Taurus is considered to be the Oscars awarded to stuntmen! Zhaidarbek is included in the awards shortlist in the nomination ‘Best Action in a Foreign Film’. It is an honour to be noted by the Taurus among our colleagues and mega-professionals, a message posted on the official Nomad Stunts Instagram page reads.
Among other nominees for the Best Action in a Foreign Film are: The First King/Il Primo Re (Italy), Kasablanka (Egypt), The Rising Hawk (Ukraine), and Spasti Leningrad (Russia).
