More than one million people across Kazakhstan received electronic services during the emergency regime, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Askar Zhumagaliyev said at a press briefing.
After the public service centers closed due to the quarantine, the load on the
e-government portal increased sharply, but the platform kept working in a standard regime, even under pressure, Zhumagaliyev said.
In his words, previously the portal was visited by 600 000 people per hour. “Now the peak load reaches 15 million users per hour. Of course, this imposes a serious burden on all the resources that are used today,” the minister added.
