A decrease of new cases of infection by 2 times is noted, and drop in the growth of the number of infected for 64%. The head of public healthcare of Nur-Sultan Saule Kissikova informed during the briefing, Toppress.kz correspondent reports.
In the context of a relatively stable epidemiological situation the work has begun on resuming the core activities of some medical entities that were involved in activities related to coronavirus prevention. In general, 376 cases of coronavirus infection are registered in the first week of May in the city, which is 6,4% of average growth rate. The second week brought out 185 cases, the average growth rate of which is 2,3%. 2-fold decrease of new cases is noted, while the decrease of growth of deceased is 64%, – Saule Kissikova reported.
Considering the epidemiological situation in the capital the city has already been returning to a normal life.
Announced a staged removal of restrictions imposed due to coronavirus, so called quarantine measures. We are, dear citizens, together testing a new reality with the opening of some sights in the city. The most important to remember – we can quit a strict quarantine only if a healthcare system is capable of identifying, testing, monitoring and isolating infected people, – said the head of public healthcare of Nur-Sultan city.
The Speaker also stressed that the city has a sufficient “fund of hospital beds” for admission. Moreover, temporary units are opened to treat decease intelligence in city clinics.
