On July 29, Kazakh Ministry of Trade and Integration confirmed that clients of SCAT, Air Astana and Fly Arystan will get a refund for canceled flights during the state of emergency, Toppress.kz correspondent reports.
Apart from cooperating with Bek Air, Kazakhstan’s Committee for protection of consumers’ rights is closely working with the airlines SCAT, Air Astana and Fly Arystan to refund the cost of tickets for canceled flights during the state of emergency. At the moment, the Committee is making a list of citizens who have not received refunds yet, the ministry’s press service said.
Citizens who have not yet received refunds for canceled flights of domestic airlines due to the introduction of COVID-19 state of emergency should contact the Committee for protection of consumers’ rights, attaching all documents confirming the purchase of a ticket, including a copy of their ID, airline ticket, and a confirmation of payment.
Applications are accepted through the e-government portal, by mail (Nur-Sultan city, 8 Mangilik Yel avenue, House of Ministries, entrance 2) and using the Telegram bot (kzpp_bot).
